We lament the passing of visual/plastic artist Jesús Peraza Menéndez (1955-2022); father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, Mexamorphosis promoter and collaborator since the inception of the organization. He inspired what we do through his philosophy and his works Estética de Temple Regional (Aesthetics on the winds of the Region). Jesús is the creator of the iconic Alebrije ‘The Winged Frog’ (quoted from the work above entitled: Apenas libres nos pusimos a jugar, 1997, 150 x 150 cm, Technique: Acrylics on sand with threads and seashells. Dr. Juan Luis Peña CINVESTAV collection),which Mexamorphosis has proudly adopted as our logo and symbol. Rest in Peace.
